Our monthly events at local businesses in the area form the backbone of our work as a pop-up. We love the flexibility that being a pop-up shop brings, but we're incredibly grateful to have local businesses willing to commit to days that you KNOW you can see us there every month.

Fall Colors Tour Events
In addition to our regular scheduled monthly events, this fall we're participating with indie bookstores across the North Shore in the Fall Colors Tour.

​The tour involves eight indie bookstores across the North Shore of Lake Superior, starting at the Twin Ports and going all the way up through Grand Marais, MN. From September 27-October 12, participating bookstores will give out Passports to be stamped by all the stores you can visit. Each store offers special discount for the entire tour! Hit all 8 stores and sign up for a chance to win a great prize sponsored by ALL participating indies!

Building Community
We love participating in and building community. It's a cornerstone of why we've chosen the business model we have. We've got many initiatives in the background as far as community involvement is concerned, but the LGBTQIA+ Coffee Talk at Dovetail every second Saturday at 2:00 is one of our most visible initial efforts as a business. Come by and grab a coffee and just--chat. Talk books or movies or just about life in general. We're here for you!
